Yesterday saw the launch of Fixional, a new online journal with the ambitious goal of "assembling the world’s largest collection of fiction into one place." Three of my short short stories - "Nomads," "Bumper to Bumper," and "One Lucky Guy" - appear on the site.
Fixional operates on a subscription basis. Readers can pay $9.99 for a month of unlimited content, or they can pay $1.25 for access to a single story.
Many thanks to Eilis O’Neal, Cassidy McCants, and everyone else at Nimrod for nominating my story "Inclusions" for a Pushcart Prize. I'm humbled by this support of my work.
The inaugural volume of The Best Small Fictions -- which contains my story, "A Notice from the Office of Reclamation" -- launches October 6th. Needless to say, I'm incredibly thrilled to see my work in a real book for the first time.
If you like short shorts, or flash fictions, or whatever you want to call them, the volume is well worth checking out. You can read reviews here and here. And of course, the book is available for purchase at places like Amazon.
